It is a general believe that external massage is beneficial in the condition of Cervical Spondylosis, but it does not holds much water. In fact, if the massage is done harshly or violently, then it can prove to be extremely harmful. However, gentle massage (2 to 3 times a day) has proven to be useful in this condition. But, all things aside, the process of hot fermentation has proven its worth in providing relief in cervical pain. The process includes applying of a big cotton towel on the neck. The towel must be soaked in hot water with about 500 grams of salt. It is suggested to go to sleep, after doing hot fermentation. There is another natural treatment for cervical Spondylosis, on same basis. The process of alternate cold and hot fermentation is highly recommended in Cervical Spondylosis. Take an ice bag and hot water bottle. Keep each for three to five seconds of cervical region and keep on replacing alternately. Repeat this for 15 consequent days.
